Education is such a fundamental to all people. If you
need to do something, you at least need some level of education. Lack of
skills leads to uninformed decisions, poor judgment, improper
reasoning, etc. Getting some basic education in an elementary school,
secondary school or even college will enable one to achieve whatever he
wants in a superb way.

This
lie has caused many people to give up and forget the real purpose of
education. Actually, we do not go to school to succeed. The sole reason
we all go to school is to gain knowledge in the given area or subject of
study.
However, there are some things that we have always gotten wrong about

to them anytime and so you can save yourself with the wisdom herein.
Many people have lost focus when they employed the falsehood advice they

Here Are the Common Misleading Pieces of Advice We Have Ever Heard about Education:
1. In Order to Succeed, You Must Be an Academic Genius:
This
lie has caused many people to give up and forget the real purpose of
education. Actually, we do not go to school to succeed. The sole reason
we all go to school is to gain knowledge in the given area or subject of
study.
Success is far
independent of the educational class. It depends on how one plans
himself and manages his time and assets. All you need to succeed is a
know-how of what you want to do. When you put the skills at work
together with your motivation and hard work, success is almost a
guarantee.
2. You Cannot Study in A Foreign Country if You Do not Speak Their Language:
This
is yet another misleading advice. If the course you want to undertake
is offered abroad and in their own language, you can still pursue it.
You do not need to be a native speaker to be enrolled in any college or
university.
The truth is that if you do not speak their language,
you will need to go through a bridging program. You will have to learn
the basic grammar of that language to enable you to understand the
concepts taught in class.
3. University Scholarships Are Only Meant for the Best Performers:
Many
people still possess this lie. They think that only extraordinary
students can be awarded scholarships. This makes many to lose hope and
abandon their dreams. What they forget is that academic excellence is
not measured by the scores and grades only.
The truth is that
anybody can apply and qualify for a scholarship. All you need is to find
those scholarships you have the requirements and submit your
applications. You do not even need to be a native English speaker or any
other language you might want to study in. The scholarships are awarded
depending on how you are able to show that you are the right person to
receive it.
4. In Order to Pass Your Exams, You Need to Cram Your Notes before You Enter the Examinations Room:
Still
many people have the illusion that cramming is the best option to pass
the examinations. The false idea is that when you do so, you can easily
fill the answer sheet with the words you just read a few hours or days
before. Many people employ this idea because of the fear of forgetting
things over time.
The truth about passing examinations is that
you do not even need to cram. You need to pay extra attention when your
instructor or tutor is in class. You also need to put more effort on the
research assignments you are given time to time. In so doing, you will
get used to the subject matter and gain the concept you need to pass
your exams and go beyond. You must focus on the gains you get after
school, not just the degree.
The Ending Line
When
you have identified these misconceptions and the truth behind them, it
is now up to you to decide to go the right direction for your own good.
You do not need to fail yourself or miss to achieve your dream because
somebody else misled you.
