APPLE TO ANNOUNCE 9.7-INCH IPAD PRO NEXT MONTH

Cupertino, CA, United States  – Apple is set to announce the next 9.7-inch iPad alongside the heavily rumored 4-inch iPhone. This slate will be another version of the iPad Pro in contrast to the rumor that it will be the next iteration of the iPad Air. Thus, this iPad is expected to come with Pencil compatibility.

This smaller iPad Pro model will bring the same internals as the current model with 12.9-inch display. The advent of this device may also signal the discontinuation of the original iPad Air line of tablets. Apple is also reported to be developing a smaller detachable keyboard to connect with this new 9.7-inch device using the iPad Pro’s smart connector.

In terms of internals, the alleged handset could feature the same quad-speaker set-up. It is also reported to be in the same set of color configurations as the larger iPad Pro. In terms of pricing, Apple is considering the same scheme as the iPad Air 2.

This release might slow down or discontinue the production of iPad Air 2 or the original iPad Air. The unveiling event will happen in March which will also feature the iPhone SE with updated hardware, Live Photos, Apple Pay and revamped camera.
