The Chinese smartphone giant, Huawei has recently announced a new mid-range tablet called as Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro
and is expected to go on sale soon. The tablet features 10.1-inch WUXGA
display, Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC, 2GB/3GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of
storage, 8MP camera, and massive 6660mAh battery. Earlier, we exclusively reported about Huawei Y5 II with budget specifications listed online. Today, the Huawei Y5 II has gone official along with the entry-level Huawei Y3 II on the brand’s official website. Both the smartphones come in 3G and 4G variants and are expected to be available soon.
Let’s talk about the smartphones in detail:
The Huawei Y5 II comes with a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display
that offers a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, the 4G-LTE
variant of the smartphone comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6735P
quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU while
the 3G variant fuels MediaTek MT6582 1.3GHz quad-core chipset coupled
with Mali 400 GPU. It has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage and also
includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 32GB.
It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based EMUI 3.1 overlaid.
On the camera cordon, the Y5 II features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing shooter video chats and selfie images. Interestingly, it also includes a front flash for selfie lovers. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The handset powers a 2200mAh battery that the company claims can easily last for an entire day on mixed usage. Its dimensions measure 143.8 x 72 x 8.9 mm and weighs around 135 grams.
The Huawei Y3 II is the slightly downgraded variant of the Y5 II. The
smartphone features 4.5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA display that offers
a pixel density of 218ppi. Under the hood, the device comes equipped
with 64-bit MediaTek MT6735M 1.0GHz quad-core processor with Mali-T720
GPU for 4G-LTE variant and the 3G variant packs MediaTek MT6582M
quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali 400 GPU. It has
1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card
slot for further expansion of memory upto 32GB.
