NIBSS has been in the news a lot lately, from Cashless quest to Ennovation Challenge, BVN and Now Developers Hangout 2015. Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc, the mighty force behind the cashless drive of the CBN has again launched a new drive to encourage Nigerian Developers to build innovative applications to solve real Nigerian Issues.

The Developers hangout, the second in its series is aimed at creating an enabling environment where developers can learn, network and collaborate to speed up the digitization of our great country Nigeria.

The official statement on the website explains the meeting  “Developers Hangout as an informal gathering for key payment Industry players, application developers, technology enthusiasts with a passion for building applications and E-commerce businesses.

It is an environment to network and share knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere. Success stories of industry collaborations will be shared, pointing out regulatory requirements for electronic payments and the opportunities that exist in the Payment space”
