The Super Falcons brushed past a lacklustre Oumar Guindo's ladies to claim all three points in Florence Omagbemi’s first tournament win

Asisat Oshoala scored four goals as Nigeria thumped Mali 6-0 in the African Women’s Cup of Nations in Limbe.
It took the defending champions only 21 minutes to open the scoring, with Fransesca Ordega with a fine finish.

  • Mali’ weak resistance was broken again in the 40th minutes when Oshoala rounded the goalkeeper to slot into an empty net, before Uchechi Sunday took the game past the Eagles Ladies with her well taken penalty.
However, the Arsenal Ladies’ forward added three more goals to give coach Florence Omagbemi’s ladies a perfect start.
